Noosa Market Report - December 2010

Sales continued strongly during the early weeks of December and slowed once the rain set in around mid month. The strong area of the market continues to be the residential homes and apartments under 1 million. We sold 6 properties in this category by mid month.

Holiday apartments are now starting to sell more often as list prices offer very good value and apartments in prime locations become available.

We have our Summer auction series coming up in the latter part of January. We will be holding seven on site auctions on Saturday the 22nd and 29th, engaging Peter Burgin (Queensland Auctioneer of the Year) to get the properties up and sold.

There are some excellent opportunities to purchase in the finest locations. These include a Little Cove Court penthouse with a private pool & sauna and a huge sunny patio overlooking Little Cove beach; one of the finest locations in Noosa..

We also have an apartment in Number One Hastings Street with views over the beach, bay and the North shore. In addition to exceptional views, an attractive feature of this apartment is the extensive patio extending the living area.

We are experiencing strong interest in these prime properties; the current market is the ideal time to upgrade into these superior positions at reviewed price levels.

January is our busy month in sales, already many long term clients are touching base with the view to look at buying property here again, this is a sure sign the market is rumbling.
