Noosa Market Report - November 2010

 Well here we are at the end of the year, and what a year!

Many regional coastal real estate markets took a beating this year, Noosa was not immuned. However, we did fair better than most. Our small size, high desirability and unique lifestyle of course remain the same and is difficult to find anywhere else.

It's been a great time to buy into the Noosa market or upgrade to a superior location at reasonable prices. Nothing ever stays the same and we will see a day where, again, Noosa's prized properties command a premium. It's knowing when, that would see us all millionaires.

This month's sales remained consistent which is great news. We had several auctions which sold half of these, again mostly in the residential areas under one million.

We also sold a Culgoa apartment in the $600,000 range, a waterfront home in Noosa Waters close to the list price of $1.6 Million and currently have contracts out on a home in Noosa Waters in the mid $800,000 range, a cottage in Noosaville by the river in the same range and an apartment in Sunshine Beach in the $1.7 Million range.

Over January there are several large in room auctions happening in Noosa, we have a series of on site auctions over mid January so there will be some great opportunities for buyers during their summer visit here. Without an interest rate rise this month, willing buyers will be out in force and we will be ready for them.
