What a great January we experienced this year, beautiful weather,
the town was packed and the beach was perfect.
Real estate sales were best described as fair, there were reasonable clearances of auctions and some of the higher priced apartments started to sell.
Notable sales include a luxury home in Wesley Court on Noosa Sound sold in excess of $5 million a North facing home on Noosa Parade ripe for renovation sold in the mid $6 million range.
In Little Cove an apartment in Kareka sold in the mid $2 million range, an apartment in The Cove sold just under $885,000 and an apartment sold in the Alderly complex sold at auction.
In Sunshine Beach we sold a home on Whale Drive just under the list price of $1.75 Million, we also sold 13 Dolphin Bay Drive prior to auction just under reserve of $1.65 Million at $1.63 Million.
A home on the high side of McAnally Drive sold in the mid $2 Million range, after being on the market for over 2 years.
It's interesting to note there are currently 9 properties under renovation or rebuild in Sunshine beach all very architectural and very high standards.
Baby boomers are re-entering the market trying to buy luxury apartments or duplexes, apartment 3/29 James St in Noosaville sold just over $1.3 million, we have a couple of duplexes there and are experiencing hot activity around these properties.
